Research at the Department of Economics and Management focuses on issues in economics and business, as well as on a variety of directly or indirectly related legal, social, institutional, technical, and methodological issues. The Department of Economics and Management engages with the frontiers of all its disciplines, favoring an interdisciplinary collaboration of various specializations. International, national, and local projects are fundamental opportunities for funding research. The Department of Economics and Management additionally allocates funds from the University of Ferrara to research projects through internal calls for proposals. The research products at the Department of Economics and Management are often published in world-leading journals and book series. Furthermore, the Department of Economics and Management is equipped with its own working papers series to promote the dissemination of works in progress and to foster a debate on several frontiers.
