CEIS – Circular Economy Innovation & Skills – Summer School - Edizione 2026
The training course is aimed at enabling participants to acquire skills in the field of design, management, monitoring, evaluation of projects for the dissemination of a culture of sustainability, for the adoption of approaches and methodologies that promote the adoption of the circular economy paradigm and support the transition to an economy oriented towards sustainable production (from an economic, environmental and social point of view), the rational use of resources, the reduction of the environmental impact of industrial production processes, all with a view to territorial development.

Through the course, participants will acquire skills that will enable them to: understand the characteristics and models of sustainable development and the dynamics of the circular economy; understand the territorial dynamics and the needs of the territory in terms of green transition; promote / support the implementation of green strategies for local and territorial development.

FORMAL ACCESS REQUIREMENTS & RECIPIENTS:
Potential recipients are young people and adults who, regardless of their employment status and therefore including students, are potentially interested in acquiring skills related to the promotion and implementation of projects that favor the transition to a circular and sustainable economy, to update, enrich, complete and make spendable their profile acquired in previous training and/or work courses.
Participants in the activities must be resident or domiciled in the Emilia-Romagna region on a date prior to registration for the activities.
It is specified, taking into account the objectives of this notice, that for those enrolled in AFAM universities/institutes based in the region, residence/domicile is not relevant.
SUBSTANTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Considering the multidisciplinary approach and the transversality of the themes connected to the green transition to different production sectors and technological fields, it is believed that the course may be of interest to people coming from different study paths and/or work experiences, with particular but not exclusive reference to economics, engineering, chemistry.
Considering that some teaching will be carried out by international experts, to attend the course a good knowledge of the English language (level B2) will be required.
SELECTION PROCESS
- Analysis of the curriculum vitae;
- Analysis of the cover letter;
- Possible interview aimed at verifying the consistency of the candidate’s profile with the path, expectations and motivation to participate in the course as well as the level of knowledge of the English language.
The interview may also be carried out remotely via video conference.
Following the assessment session, a ranking will be drawn up and the first 14 candidates for each edition will be able to access the path. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the youngest student.
It will be possible to consider extending the number of participants up to 20 in the case of valid applications.
