WORKSHOP ON TRADE & ISTITUTIONS

In the recent trade-literature the role of innovation in the export-productivity relationship is emphasized. Special interest is devoted to the knowledge of the determinants of R&D investment and innovation within an open economy framework and their effects on the productivity and - as a consequence - on the organization of the firm, in terms of either in-house production, outsourcing or multinational forms.
